FIELD: oil and gas production. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clay-free drilling fluids used for flushing out holes under drilling and exposing producing formations by means of vertical, deviating, or horizontal hole section. Water and xanthane biopolymer-based drilling mud containing humate reagent is characterized by, in particular, containing 0.3-0.5% of Flo-Vis as xanthane biopolymer, 10.5-15.0% of powdered coal-alkali reagent, and water. ^ EFFECT: decreased number of components, increased temperature resistance, simplified preparation procedure and chemical aftertreatment, and reduced expenses on the whole without deterioration in rheological and filtration characteristics. ^ 1 tbl |
