FIELD: jet-oxidizing processes used for treating of sulfide copper and copper-nickel materials in non-ferrous metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves oxygen blowing of sulfide copper and copper-nickel matte, said blowing being provided by means of 3-9 uniformly distributed gas-oxygen jets issued from single inner circle of bath, each jet being inclined at an angle of 15-30 deg to horizontal plane of bath between jet projection and radius of bath at jet issue point. Radius Rr, m, defined by jet incident point, is determined from ratio Rr/R=0.6-0.8, where R is bath radius. Blowing of sulfide copper and copper-nickel matte is performed in stationary metallurgical furnaces with vertical working space. ^ EFFECT: increased specific output of converting of copper and copper-nickel matte. ^ 1 tbl, 2 dwg |
