In a data transmission apparatus, a program management table control section generates and manages a program management table which is used for presentation of an advertisement program at a data reception apparatus, where the table is generated from program identification data for identifying program data, program storage area data for designating where the program data is' stored in the data reception apparatus, and program guidance position data for indicating the geographical position of the location guided in the program. In addition, in the data reception apparatus, a program data storage section takes out the program identification data, the program storage area data, and the program guidance position data by using the program management table received from the data transmission apparatus, and stores, in association with the program guidance position data, the program data identified by the program identification data in area designated by the program storage area data. <IMAGE> |
