PURPOSE: A passenger airbag housing for a vehicle and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce manufacturing cost and to prevent the deterioration of intensity. CONSTITUTION: A passenger airbag housing for a vehicle is composed of a housing body(1), a welded flange(5) having a connecting piece(5a) bent toward both sides of the housing body, an inboard end cap(2a), and an outboard end cap(3a) integrated with the inboard end cap. The inboard end cap and the outboard end cap are in contact with the connecting piece.
