PURPOSE: A liquid crystal projector is provided to reduce a floating noise generated by peripheral composition components and vary a rotation speed of a fan according to the capacity of images. CONSTITUTION: Three polarizing plates(52-54) polarize the light of a lamp(50) into red, green and blue. Three liquid crystal panels(56-58) opposite with the three polarizing plates form an image by the light polarized in each polarizing plate. A prism(60) synthesizes the images of the liquid crystal panels and inputs the synthesized image to a projection lens to expand and project the image to the outside. A cooling fan opposite with one side of the prism sucks an external cool air to cool the liquid crystal panels and the polarizing plates. A spacer installed between the cooling fan and the prism blocks that the external cool air flows to the prism.
