PURPOSE: A hood hinge apparatus of a vehicle for easily discharging internal heat of an engine room is provided to protect components in the engine room against heat, and to improve cooling efficiency by lifting up the rear end of the hood during traveling at high speed and by radiating heat from the engine room. CONSTITUTION: A hood hinge apparatus comprises a vehicle speed sensor(10) measuring travel speed of a vehicle; a control unit(11) receiving signals from the vehicle speed sensor; a driving unit(20) rotating or reversing according to the output signal from the control unit; a driven wheel(30) connected to the driving unit and rotated and fixed to the body; an operating rod(40) having an end(41) combined with the driven wheel and a long groove(40a) for inserting a hinge part(43) fixed to the body; and a hood bracket(50) combined with the other end(42) of the operating rod by a hinge pin and combined with the lower part of the hood.
