SILVER PASTE FRIT FOR AC-PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL ELECTRODE CAPABLE OF AVOIDING CRACK AND IMPROVING ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS

PURPOSE: A silver paste frit is provided to prevent a crack and achieve improved electrical characteristics, while preventing an environmental contamination by using Bi2O3 rather than PbO. CONSTITUTION: A silver paste frit composition comprises Bi2O3 40 to 85 weight% as a main component, and one or more of B2O3, SiO2, Al2O3, and ZnO 25 to 40 weight%. A method for producing a silver paste frit comprises a step of mixing Bi2O3 40 to 85 weight%, B2O3 5 to 20 weight%, SiO2 10 to 30 weight%, Al2O3 1 to 10 weight%, and ZnO 1 to 10 weight%, and melting the mixture; a step of quickly cooling the molten material, and producing glass powder by crushing the cooled material; a step of producing an organic vehicle by adding a binder and a plasticizer to a solvent, and producing a paste by mixing the glass powder to the organic vehicle; a step of screen printing the paste on a glass substrate; and a step of performing a heat treatment on the glass substrate.
