PURPOSE: An apparatus of manufacturing a single crystal is provided to carry out the cooling of the single crystal and growing of the subsequent single crystal at the same time. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing apparatus for the single crystal includes a growing furnace(1) in which the single crystal is grown, a drawing pivot(14-16), an annealing furnace(2) in which the grown single crystal is stored and cooled, and a raw material supplier with which the raw material of the single crystal is supplied to a precious metal crucible. The growing furnace(1) includes the precious metal crucible(5) in which the raw material melt(13) is stored, a refractory crucible(6) which is arranged along outside of the precious metal crucible, and a growing furnace top cover(8) which has a through-hole(24) for the drawing pivot(14-16) and is opened and shut freely. In a state that a bottom part of the annealing furnace(2) comes into close contact with the upper part of the growing furnace top cover, the single crystal in the growing furnace(1) is transferred to the annealing furnace(2).
