PURPOSE: A UWB(Ultra Wide Band) pulse string generation device, a method therefor, a data transceiving device using the pulse string and a method for transceiving data by using the pulse string are provided to use a UWB, thereby easily searching for start position information of a pulse string while maintaining a processing gain. CONSTITUTION: A random number generator(611) generates a random number sequence. A random interval pulse string generator(612) uses the random number sequence, and generates a random interval pulse string for data to be transmitted. A template pulse string generator(621) generates a reference template pulse string for searching a start position of the random interval pulse string, and a pulse string for a signal 0 and a signal 1. A random number sequence detector(622) receives the random interval pulse string, and finds out start position information of the random number sequence. A comparator(623) compares the pulse string for the signals 0 and 1 with the random interval pulse string, and decides whether a value of the random interval pulse string is 0 or 1.
