PURPOSE: A dust collecting unit for a vacuum cleaner is provided to reduce the keeping space of the vacuum cleaner by rotatably installing a handle to the dust collecting unit. CONSTITUTION: A dust collecting unit(100) is detachably coupled to the rear of a cleaner body. Detachable grooves(122b) are formed at one side of support units(122,124). A handle(200) includes a front connecting unit(220) having connecting ribs(222,224) rotatably connected to the support units, a rear cover(260) attached to the front connecting unit, and a detachable member(240) disposed between the front connecting unit and the rear cover and having a support protrusion(244) detachably coupled to the detachable groove.
