摘要 PURPOSE: A WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) light source device using a semiconductor-type optical amplifier is provided to directly modulate a semiconductor-type optical modulator according to a high-speed data signal, and to control a wavelength band by controlling temperature of a diffraction grating, thereby controlling a wavelength band of a WDM signal. CONSTITUTION: N semiconductor-type optical amplifiers(11) are coated with media(12) having a high reflection property on one side, are coated with other media(13) having an anti-reflection property on the other side, and directly/optically modulate according to a high-speed data signal. A 1xN multiplexer/demultiplexer(14) consists of N terminals on one side and one terminal on the other side, is connected to the N terminals and the N semiconductor-type optical amplifiers(11), and performs a multiplexing process. A reflector(15) is connected to the one terminal of the 1xN multiplexer/demultiplexer(14), and reflects a signal transmitted through the 1xN multiplexer/demultiplexer(14) at high reflection.
