PURPOSE: A drum-type washing machine is provided to exhaust hot air of high and uniform temperature by making heat exchange efficiently performed when air passes through a heater. CONSTITUTION: A drum-type washing machine comprises a water tub, a rotating tub rotatably arranged in the water tub, and a drying device(20) drying the laundry put in the rotating tub. The drying device comprises an air duct arranged to communicate with the rotating tub at the upper part of the water tub; a blower fan(21) and a heater(25) installed in the air duct, to supply air of high temperature to the rotating tub; and an air guide(28) arranged between the blower fan and the heater, to make the air discharged from the blower fan uniformly pass through all over the surface of the heater.
