LCD HAVING OCS STRUCTURE FOR REMOVING SIMPLIFYING MANUFACTUREING PROCESS

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) having an OCS(Optically Compensated Splay) structure is provided to remove complexity in manufacture using a single domain. CONSTITUTION: A discotic-type upper phase film(2) located under a top polarizing plate(1) has phase difference of 450nm to 510nm. An upper substrate having a transparent electrode(3) and a vertical orientation film(4) is located under the upper phase film. A spray arrangement liquid crystal layer(5) is located under the upper substrate. A lower substrate having a vertical orientation film(6), a transparent electrode(7) and a lower glass substrate(8) is located under the liquid crystal layer. A bottom polarizing plate(9) is located under the lower substrate.
