PURPOSE: An apparatus for locking a door for use in a car is provided to improve the durability and performance of a door locking device. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for locking a door, which is used in a car, includes a door latch(11), a striker(15) and a gap prevention device(20). The door latch having a hook is installed on the door(1). The striker is fixed to the bracket(16) installed on the chases(2) so as to fix the door by engaging the hook of the door latch. And, the gap prevention device(20) is installed on the bracket for supporting the door latch in a direction of the opening.
