PURPOSE: A method for informing of customer state in a mobile communication network is provided to supply customer state information according to a method selected by a subscriber, thereby more effectively supplying a customer state information service. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber(201) informs a presence server(203) of a self current state(S21). The presence server(203) supplies a receiving confirm signal to a mobile terminal of the subscriber(201) to complete a receiving procedure(S22). The subscriber(201) informs the presence server(203) of notify methods for all or each customer(S23). If the subscriber(201) selects an automatic notify method, the presence server(203) automatically records a notify method for a specific subscriber(204)(S24). If a current state of the subscriber(204) changes, the presence server(203) responds to changed state information(S25,S26), and changes state information of the subscriber(204) into a changed state(S27). The presence server(203) automatically informs the subscriber(201) of the changed state information on the subscriber(204)(S28,S29).
