PURPOSE: An automatic paper feeder for a printer is provided to stably feed printing papers regardless of sizes of the papers by installing two pickup assemblies at both sides of the printing paper. CONSTITUTION: An automatic paper feeder includes a paper stacking plate(1), a driving shaft(2), first and second pickup assemblies(4,4'), and a paper width adjusting lever(5). The paper stacking plate(1) has a rear plate(1a), side plates(1c) and a lower plate(1b) in order to stack a plurality of printing papers thereon. The printing papers are positioned between the rear plate(1a) of the paper stacking plate(1) and the first and second pickup assemblies(4,4') such that front portions of the printing papers make contact with the rear plate(1a) of the paper stacking plate(1). The driving shaft(2) is rotatably coupled to the side plates(1c) of the paper stacking plate(1).
