PURPOSE: A method for dynamically configuring an RADIUS message by using a macro definition is provided to dynamically configure an RADIUS message by sharing a macro definition without including RADIUS protocol message configuration information in a source code, thereby easily interfacing between systems. CONSTITUTION: An RADIUS client and an RADIUS server read an RADIUS message configure text file(501), analyze syntax(502), and decide whether the syntax is successfully analyzed(503). If so, the RADIUS client and the RADIUS server dynamically assign a memory to generate an RADIUS message structure(505). If all AVPs are successfully analyzed, the RADIUS client and the RADIUS server generate entire RADIUS message structures including headers(507). The RADIUS client and the RADIUS server directly extract values of each AVP item and configure a message(508).
