PURPOSE: A CNC machine crash prevention system using a laser sensor and a CCD camera is provided to prevent huge economic loss by protecting an expensive CNC machine from crash. CONSTITUTION: The CNC machine crash prevention system using a laser sensor and a CCD camera checks the possibility of crash during operation by measuring a distance between an end of a machining tool and a target structure automatically using the laser sensor and the CCD camera in a CNC machine.
