PURPOSE: An Internet phone combined with a credit card payment function and a relay method thereof are provided to relay card payment by using an Internet phone, thereby reducing time for approving transactions while enhancing security by coding transaction approval information. CONSTITUTION: The first transceiver(315) receives a card approval request signal including card approval information from a credit card terminal, and transmits a transaction approval detail signal corresponding to the request signal to the terminal. The first signal conversion module(307) converts the request signal into a card approval request signal recognizable by payment server. The second transceiver(320) transmits the converted card approval request signal to the payment server, and receives a transaction approval detail signal from the payment server. The second signal conversion module(309) converts the transaction approval detail signal into a signal recognizable by the terminal. A controller(300) controls the first transceiver(315), the first signal conversion module(307), the second transceiver(320), and the second signal conversion module(309).
