The process involves making a rotor (20) to turn in opposite direction of wheels of tractor vehicle to carry stones in direction of motion of the vehicle. The stones are thrown against an anvil in a repetitive manner until fragments are sufficient to go through a passage between the rotor teeth. The throwing step is accompanied by a direct gap to allow very hard stones to embed themselves between the rotor and the anvil. An independent claim is also included for a stone crusher.
