The suitcase (50) has an outer wall that defines a closed surface. The wall has an essentially-cylindrical portion (54) that forms a rolling surface and revolves around a rotation axis (R). Two flat portions (58, 60) form essentially-parallel sides that are perpendicular to the rotation axis. Gripping and/or rolling units (62, 68) are designed to be housed inside the closed surface. An independent claim is also included for a method of processing a suitcase.
