Method for identifying or determining organelles (A) in a liquid sample, is new. Method for identifying or determining organelles (A) in a liquid sample comprises: (1) coupling a ligand (L), able to bind specifically to a membrane component of (A), to the surface of a biochip (BC), suitable for use in a device that detects variation in mass or molecular conformation by optical reflection; (2) injecting sample liquid (B) into a device that allows contact between B and BC; and (3) determining change in mass or molecular conformation at the surface of BC, for identification and/or determination of bound (A). Independent claims are also included for: (1) method for preparing BC having (A) immobilized on its surface; (2) BC prepared by method (1); and (3) method for determining binding between an analyte (An) and a membrane component of (A).
