<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing area utilizing wireless communication, which reduces the power consumption for transmission of image data. <P>SOLUTION: The photographing apparatus detects whether or not it is staying in a communication available area to wirelessly transmit image data obtained by photographing to an image server, the photographing apparatus transmits the image data only when the photographing apparatus detects itself existing within the communication available area, and extends a period of detecting the communication available area in response to reduction in the residual capacity of a power of the photographing apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
