<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable envelope for a fuel cell capable of housing an electrolyte material, compact and rigid, and capable of uniformly supplying gas, uniformizing the temperature gradient in an envelope, with highly efficient electric connection and power generation, and to provide a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The envelope 2 for the fuel cell and the fuel cell 1 using the same are provided with a base body 6 having a concave part housing an electrolyte member 3 equipped with a first and a second electrodes 4/5, a first fluid flow channel 8 formed from a bottom face of the concave part to an outer face of the base body 6, a first wiring conductor 10 with one end arranged at the bottom of the concave part and the other end guided out to the outer face of the base body 6, a lid body 7 mounted on a top face of as periphery of the concave part of the base body 6, a second fluid flow channel 9 formed from an underside of the lid body 7 to an outer face of the lid body 7, a second wiring conductor 11 with one end arranged at the underside of the lid body 7 and the other end guided out to the outer face of the lid body 7, and a moisture absorbent member 12 adhered at least either an inner face of the first fluid flow channel 8 or an inner face of the second fluid flow channel 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
