<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sales supporting apparatus and the like for enabling an appropriate piece of advice to be given to a customer with whom a dealer negotiates for sales after setting a customized article on a web. <P>SOLUTION: The sales supporting apparatus 1 of this invention responds a specification selection request from the customer 2 connected via a communication line 6 and sets the customized article equipped with the selected specification and presents information about the customized article to the customer and accepts an application of sales negotiation of the customized article from the customer to the dealer 4.
