<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which realizes faster enlargement display while suppressing memory consumption as compared with entire enlargement. <P>SOLUTION: This image display device includes a means of displaying image data, an overall image size adjusting means, an area cut data generating means, a means of indicating an area that a user wants to enlarge and display in the entire displayed image, a previous enlargement area specifying means, a means of holding image data which are specified by the previous enlargement area specifying means and cut by the area cut data generating means, and a decision means of deciding whether the enlargement area that the user indicates is included in the area specified by the previous enlargement area specifying means, indicating image data which are in the cut image holding means and have been cut when the enlargement area is included or the area to the area cutting means, and displaying the cut image data by an image display means respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
