摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converter of high reliability at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: Many granular crystal semiconductors 2 which exhibit one conductivity type are arranged on a substrate 1 having one electrode and joined to the substrate 1. Parts between the semiconductors 2 are filled with insulator 3, and a semiconductor layer 4 having inverse conductivity type is formed on the semiconductors 2. In the photoelectric converter, the other electrode 5 is connected with the semiconductor layer 4 having inverse conductivity type. The insulator 3 is composed of polyimide containing silicon scaffolds, so that insulator 3 thickness on the substrate 1 is assured and over etching around the granular crystal semiconductors 2 can be prevented in the case of wet etching. As compared with the conventional photoelectric converter, manufacture margin is large, and a photoelectric converter having high conversion efficiency can be manufactured easily at a low cost, so that a photoelectric converter of high reliability can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
