<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of weld defects at the time of lap welding. <P>SOLUTION: In lap welding performed by vertically superposing the planar parts of welding members, arranging on the upper side the member whose end is situated near the weld zone in the superposed members, and carrying out the lap welding from the above, the jig serves to hold the welding members in the superposed state at a position away by a prescribed distance from the end of the upper welding member. The jig is provided with two bolster members 31a, 31b which come in contact with the lower welding member 12 to hold it at two places and a press member 32 which pressurizes the upper welding member 13 from the above. The bolster members 31a, 31b are arranged at a prescribed space apart, with the press member 32 pressurizing the welding member situated between each contact place of the bolster members 31a, 31b with the welding member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
