DECODING REPRODUCING METHOD, DECODING REPRODUCING DEVICE AND MULTIMEDIA INFORMATION RECEIVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide decoding reproducing method/device for judging whether PTS (Presentation Time Stamp) which is added to an encoded frame and shows the time the frame is reproduced is correct by less calculation and to provide a multimedia information receiving device.

SOLUTION: When CI (Configuration Information) which is added to the encoded frame and shows a form of encoding is correctly received (step 41e), and when STC (System Time Clock) being a reference synchronizing signal of the decoding/reproducing device is reset (step 41g), received PTS is judged to be correct.
