PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device capable of preventing image quality deterioration without damaging operability even though an environmental condition such as ambient temperature changes between in a real photographing mode and in a dark image photographing mode. SOLUTION: This image pickup device is provided with an imaging means capable of picking up an image in a first imaging mode for performing imaging in a nonexposure state to obtain first image data and in a second imaging mode for performing imaging in an exposure state to obtain second image data, a correction data generating means for generating correction data for correcting one-dimensional dark fixed pattern noise of the second image data from the first image data, and a correcting means for correcting the one-dimensional dark fixed pattern noise of the second image data by using the prescribed correction data.
