PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide exterior parts produced by an optimal molding method corresponding to their objectives or uses and excellent in appearance characteristics. SOLUTION: This exterior part is provided by molding from a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing (A) a thermoplastic resin matrix component and (B) an elastomeric component, introducing (C) a magnetic material into either one of the thermoplastic resin matrix component or the elastomeric component, and changing a ratio of the thermoplastic matrix component to the total plastic elastomer composition; (A)/[(A)+(B)] at the cross section of the exterior material in the thickness direction toward the surface direction by applying a magnetic field.
