PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical element block, a method in which lenses are formed at low cost for a plurality of optical element blocks. SOLUTION: Stereoscopic circuit molded products 11a, 11b for a plurality of optical element blocks are resin-molded in a linked state through flexible connecting pieces 23, 24. While optical element mounting bases 12a, 12b at positions corresponding to those of optical element blocks are inserted to a plurality of lens forming frames, lens resin is filled in each frame of a casting case where the lens forming frames are installed. Then, each of the optical element mounting bases 12a, 12b is inserted into each frame of the casting case, with the lens resin hardened. After the lenses are formed at the tip end face of the optical element mounting bases 12a, 12b, these bases 12a, 12b are released from respective frames, with the connecting pieces 23, 24 cut off, and separated into individual optical element blocks.
