PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicine suppressing chronic transplant vascular diseases, especially preventing chronic rejection of transplanted organs. SOLUTION: The medicinal composition contains a compound of free or a pharmaceutically permissible salt of formula I, wherein R1is a 12-22C straight- or branched carbon chain which may be optionally substituted with a (substituted) phenylene, and R2, R3, R4and R5are each independently H or a lower alkyl. The medicinal composition is useful in the prevention or treatment of chronic rejection in a recipient of organ or tissue allo- or xenotransplantation, or of acute rejection in a xenograft transplant recipient.
