PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve communication efficiency by controlling an amplification gain so that only a signal from a radio station, which is the other party of communication, is appropriately amplified. SOLUTION: An AGC process part 115 stores in advance the station discrimination information of each of one or more radio stations which are other parties of communication, and decides whether the station discrimination information contained in the radio signal that has been received agrees with the station discrimination information that has been stored in advance. If both station discrimination information agree with each other, the AGC process part 115 stores the gain control value acquired by automatic gain control. After the gain control values for all radio signals of one or more radio stations that are the other parties of communication are stored, one of the gain control values is selected and is fixed so as to the gain control value of an AGC amplification part 105, and no further automatic gain control is carried out.
