A vent assembly for automobiles, including a housing (1) installed at a vent channel of a dashboard, a grill unit (4) having a grillwork therein and provided at a front of the housing (1) to be opened, and a container compartment (2) provided in the housing (1) to be ejected from or retracted into the housing (1). In the vent assembly, the grill unit (4) having an air filter (5) seated therein is installed at the front of the housing (1), and the container compartment (2) having a locking piece (23) to detachably lock a container unit (24) in the container compartment (2) is installed in an interior of the housing (1), such that an opening or closing motion of the grill unit (4) and an ejecting or retracting motion of the container compartment (2) relative to the housing (1) are executed simultaneously or sequentially by a drive means (3). |
