A process to produce a heating field (1) with a group of heating wires of wave form comprises laying the wires (3) between two current strips (2) of different lengths or non-parallel form. To obtain equal tension on the wires and/or a similar length between the strips the amplitude and/or wavelength of the wires is adjusted on assembly. An independent claim is also included for a production device for the above process.
