PURPOSE: A PDP front filter and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve EMI shielding effect by improving loose contact between a multi thin film and a bus electrode. CONSTITUTION: A PDP front face filter comprises a glass substrate(11); a black ceramic layer(12) formed on the edge of the glass substrate; a first PET film(13) adhered to the glass substrate; a multi thin film(16) constituted by Ag thin films and ITO thin films stacked on the first PET film; a second PET film(14) adhered to the multi thin film; an anti-reflection/hard coating film(18,19) formed on the second PET film; and a bus electrode for grounding the multi tin film. The edge of the Ag thin film is extended from the edge of the ITO thin film with a predetermined length in such a manner that the edge of the multi thin film is constituted by stack layer of the Ag multi thin film. |
