<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a cyclopentadiene derivative in high yield. <P>SOLUTION: The cyclopentadiene derivative has a structure expressed by formula (1) and is produced by reacting an organometallic compound (2) with a reducing agent and then with a nitrile (3) and reacting the product with an alkyne (4) in the presence of a transition metal compound. In the formulas, R and R' are each a hydrocarbon group; A is a hydrocarbon group or the like; M is a transition metal; L<SP>1</SP>and L<SP>2</SP>are each a ligand; and X<SP>1</SP>and X<SP>2</SP>are each an eliminable group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
