<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood of an automobile capable of sufficiently reducing damage which receives by the collision of a head part of a pedestrian with the hood of the automobile. <P>SOLUTION: The hood 1 has a structure equipped with an outer panel 3 and an inner panel 5. The inner panel consists of a honeycomb having the maximum crushing stress of not less than 0.5 N/mm<SP>2</SP>, and less than 20 N/mm<SP>2</SP>, or an aluminum shape expand metal having thickness of 6.35 mm to 25 mm, spreading part width A1 of 50 mm to 150 mm, and connection part length [B2-B1] of 10 mm to 30 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
