<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the sensitivity unevenness correspondingly to each photoreceptor drum by easily calculating a correction value with which the unevenness of image reproducibility is corrected by an electric means, for each photoreceptor drum. <P>SOLUTION: A rotation position detection means for detecting a rotation position of a photoreceptor is provided, and the overall periphery of the photoreceptor is electrified and/or exposed as prescribed, and the sensitivity unevenness for one round of the photoreceptor is spirally measured by rotating the photoreceptor while causing a potential measuring means to scan in a main scanning direction in order to measure the surface potential of the photoreceptor, and the measurement result is used to correct the exposure of an image exposure means in accordance with the rotation position of the photoreceptor detected by the rotation position detection means when forming an image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
