<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demodulating method and a demodulator which recovers a normal state even if noise enters a synchronous portion midway to avoid the influence of the noise. <P>SOLUTION: The demodulator 10 comprises a signal reader 11, a shaping circuit 13 for shaping read signals and an arithmetic processor 14.
