摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication module which is connectable in multiple stages by using a plurality of optical communication modules having identical structure. SOLUTION: This module is an optical communication module which has a first end part, a second end part, an optical signal processing part 170, an optical transmission medium 131 for optical signal processing which is optically coupled from the first end part to the optical signal processing part 170 and optical transmission media 132 to 134 for relay which are relayed from the first end part to the second end part. Then, when the plurality of optical communication modules are connected by connecting the first end part of the optical communication module of the postage to the second end part of the optical communication module of the prestage, the optical transmission medium 131 of each optical communication module is optically coupled with the optical transmission medium 132 for relay of the module of the prestage which is connected to the first end part.
