PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a for forming method a groove face in the ground in an easy and simple manner. SOLUTION: According to the method, at least one or more cutting wheels 12, 12' provided for a groove face cutter 10 are attached to a frame 20, to which rotary motion is applied by drives 15, 15'. Then the groove face cutter 10 is lowered under the ground and earth material below the cutting wheels 12, 12' is excavated to form an excavated groove, and a hardenable liquid is poured from a liquid supply device 41 into the groove. Then the excavated earth material is transferred by the cutting wheels 12, 12' through the frame 20 to a rear area of the excavated groove, and the excavated earth material is mixed with the hardenable liquid.
