PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polluted matter eliminating system for a combined sewer system, which eliminates polluted matter such as sludge contained in final effluent divided at a weir, to thereby prevent degradation in water quality in rivers and in the sea. SOLUTION: The combined sewer system 201 for the combined sewer system 201 includes an effluent conduit 1 for temporarily storing therein final effluent divided at the weir 202. The effluent conduit 1 has formed therein a sludge storage recess 21, inclined surfaces 11 each inclined downward from a conduit inner wall surface to the sludge storage recess 21, a cover 22 covering an upper space of the sludge storage recess 11, and a spraying means (spray pipe 4 or the like) for spraying water in the effluent conduit 1.
