PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive device that can be handled independently of an information display member. SOLUTION: The heat sensitive device comprises: a transparent cover section 2 for seeing through information recorded on an information display member, such as a bar code label; a heat sensitive material accommodation section 3 for accommodating a heat sensitive material made of a substance, where a state changes depending on temperature; a diffusion layer 5, where the state of the substance of the heat sensitive material changes and flows out to or penetrates the cover section when exposed to a specific temperature; and a barrier section 4 for preventing the heat sensitive material from flowing out of the heat sensitive material accommodation section before use.
