PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device with reduced cost of a shift gear member. SOLUTION: The transmission device comprises a first rotating member 115 arranged coaxially with a first shaft 111 to which the output torque of a motor is transmitted, for integral rotation with the first shaft 111, a first gear 117 arranged coaxially with the first shaft 111 and in a relatively rotatable manner, a first clutch mechanism 121 for connecting/disconnecting the first rotating member 115 to/from the first gear 117, a second rotating member 116 arranged coaxially with the first shaft 111 for integral rotation with the first shaft 111, a second gear 118 arranged coaxially with the first shaft 111 and in a relatively rotatable manner, and a second clutch mechanism 122 for connecting/disconnecting the second rotating member 116 to/from the second gear 118. Herein, the first gear 117 engages with a shift gear 124 which engages with a third gear 123a to be rotated integrally with the second shaft 123, and the second gear 118 engages with the third gear 123a.
