PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw without the need for thread fastening when assembling a ball circulating tube. SOLUTION: The ball screw is provided with a screw shaft (1) having a spiral rolling groove in the outside perimeter, a nut (2) having a spiral ball rolling groove in the inside perimeter, a plurality of balls (3) arranged in a track (6) formed by opposing the ball rolling groove of the screw shaft (1) and the ball rolling groove of the nut (2) to each other, the ball circulating tube (4) to return the ball (3) from an end of the track to the other end of the track by picking up the ball (3), and a setting groove (7) to insert the ball circulating tube (4) set at the nut (2). The setting groove (7) has a stopper (21) to prevent the ball circulating tube (4) to be inserted into the setting groove (7) from moving for the slip-off direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
