PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of a tripod member without reducing the number of teeth of a spline and enlarging an outer shape of a whole uniform velocity universal joint. SOLUTION: A uniform velocity universal joint is comprised of an outside joint member which forms a plurality of track grooves in the inside perimeter at an equal distance in the circumferential direction along the axial direction and which is secured to an end of a first rotating shaft, an inside joint member 12 which alternately forms a thick wall part in the axial direction, and a thin wall part in the radial direction at the periphery at the even distance in the circumferential direction to pair the track groove of the outside joint member and which is fixed to the end of a second rotating shaft with a spline fitting, and a plurality of rolling elements which are intervened between the outside joint member and the inside joint member 12 to transmit a torque between the first rotating shaft and the second rotating shaft. In the joint, the inside joint member 12 has a shaft hole 21 spline-fitted by the end of the second shaft. A bottom-land 22b having a joint part 22c with a tooth flank 22a is formed between a pair of the opposite tooth flanks 22a of a female spline 22 formed at the inside diameter of the shaft hole 21.
