PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a seat device freely-storable in a storage recessed part, a front link, an upper end part of which is pivotally supported on a side frame of a seat cushion and a lower end part of which is pivotally supported on a bracket of a floor, is used, and the bracket is projected from the floor and a carpet which causes damage on an occupant and a cargo in a seat storing state and results in giving poor appearance. SOLUTION: A bent part 6 is formed on the front link 8 of the seat device 1, a lower side of the a bent part 6 is arranged along the carpet 13, and the front link is pivotally supported on the bracket 12 under the carpet 13. A cover 24 for covering upper and lower sides of the bent part 6 is fitted over the front link 8. When the seat is stored, the cover 24 is almost in the same plane with the carpet 13 and the front link 8 is not exposed outside which results in giving good appearance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
