PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dash insulator holding structure which can prevent noises generated at the front section of a vehicle from being transmitted to an instrument panel, and at the same time, can prevent the working efficiency from deteriorating. SOLUTION: An attaching piece 25 which is projected from the front section of the instrument panel 20 arranged in the vehicle 10, and of which the distal end part 24 is bent upward is inserted and fastened in/to an attaching hole 31 which is formed at the upper section 30a of a dash insulator 30. Thus the dash insulator 30 is held by the instrument panel 20 by this dash insulator holding structure. On the attaching piece 25, a tilted end surface 26 is formed so that the distal end 24a may become an acute angle, and at the same time, the corner of the bent part is removed. For the attaching hole 31, the lower edge part 32a of an opening 32 on the instrument panel 20 side is chamfered, and at the same time, the inner diameter is formed to be gradually expanded larger than the opening 32.
